I am David, an IT guy, theologian, former pastor, and former owner of a franchise called Budget Blinds of Independence MO. On this website my passion is personal, and I strive to keep my devotional thoughts pithy and thoughtful. I know people are capable of doing their own thinking, and I am merely a voice striving to ignite and inspire. We should all strive to be unwavering !
On a secular note, I am a Distinguished Toastmaster (DTM), and formerly a subject matter expert/presenter for conferences and workshops for IBM. In 2020, I am gearing up my blog feed to present inspiration and devotions at least once a week. Certainly there are many good Bible translations available, so will I remain consistent with the unwavering theme by using the New International version (via Bibegateway.com). I have preached in settings as diverse as the Church or the Nazarene, Baptist churches, Church or God (Holiness), and Evangelical Friends. I remain a faithful Sunday school teacher for adults at my local church.
